Any way to stop the flies buzzing?

I've been cleaning the house constantly, but nothing gets rid of the (LOUD) sound of buzzing flies, even if there is zero trash or food out and every object is clean. It's driving me crazy. I even tried deleting the flies themselves with the move_objects cheat as people suggested on previous posts, but the sound of buzzing continues. Is there a way to make this stop? I'll take a mod if needed (although I'm not sure how I would go about installing one. I bought the game yesterday through the EA app with the re-release.)
