Bridgerton jigsaw
In 2023 Bridgerton announced the release of the merch and one of the pieces of merchandise was a puzzle. Everyone has seen it, Eloise talking to Benedict and Theo is waiting for her in the background.
What caught my attention was not that, but a diary, that lies on the floor on the opposite side of the picture. At first, when you look at it without paying much attention it won’t be that much of a clue, however if you look closely, there are initials on that diary.
E. B. As in…Eloise Bridgerton?👀
With my dear girls, we came up with tons of ideas of what it might mean but we have our favourites ones.
- Her book actually being not else just a story laying on a floor never to be picked (like her book story never being actually adapted in the show).
- She loses her diary that usually is kept in the drawer next to the Theo’s book.
- Or the “novel” she talked about to Benedict in the first season.
- Eloise’s book (and its story) being the one to get lost in the ballroom. On the opposite side of where her and Theo are. This and the first one are simply just similar metaphors tho, I was feeling poetic.
But I think it’s a very interesting detail with or without a deeper meaning so let us know what you think about it and what is its meaning in your perception.🫶🏼
