Reasons behind CVD's withdrawal as showrunner
I saw someone comment on Twitter (or I forget where) that the reason CVD left the showrunner position was because he had "deviated" too much from the stories told in the books.đđ Which is completely false as there are several interviews that testify to the contrary. I find his words interesting in this screenshot I took. He would never leave the show that he HIMSELF created in the hands of someone capable of not making it work. I know Jess Brownell's character is quite questionable and definitely doesn't have the same magic as CVD but damn, these two spoke, they must have said something to pass on this legacy.
