Controversial opinion: Part of the Band is probably my least favorite song on BFIAFL

It’s boring, the lack of chorus, the flow of the song, lack of catchiness. It honestly feels very un-1975 to me. I feel most people who like it are late 1975 fans and probably aren’t as into their first 2 albums. Or they are jumping on the bandwagon bc how many people praise it. It’s everything I don’t want 1975 to be. Ok honestly I don’t think it’s a bad song, I just find it really boring and meh and don’t get the hype. Ready for downvotes, but have to let that off my chest.

Edit: just want to say when I said most people who like it I mean those who have it rated as one of 1975s best songs. I know that lots of old fans like the song.
