Anyone else annoyed by the "Previously on..." segments that basically reveal the plot for that week?
Looking at you, Severance.
There are a lot of shows that are guilty of this though. Basically if you watch the Previously on... segment ahead of the episode, everything that's being shown is somehow directly related to what you're about to watch. Severance in particular is so specific to the point where I actually have to skip it, because otherwise very little of what happens in the episode that week is going to feel like a surprise.
Remember when this character said this line in the middle of last season? Well, you're going to get a follow-up in about 23 minutes. Remember when this character went to this person's house? Guess which two characters are going to interact again, etc etc. Feels like spoilers without being spoiled, but any discerning viewer can pick up on where things are going pretty easily once they watch those few minutes that precede the rest of the episode.
