Seeing Saturn's rings with Celestron StarSense Explorer 100
My son got this telescope for Christmas from his grandparents and more than anything he wants to see Saturn's rings. Is this even possible? We can see Saturn no problem, but it just appears to be a large and bright star. I'm thinking maybe a 4mm eyepiece? Will a Barlow 2x help? Do we need a planetary filter? Also anything you'd recommend to add-on here for improved lunar viewing would be great.
