Which tool(s) do you use to create instructional images for documentation?
I'm helping a PM friend with editing images to include in their documentation. I'm wondering which tool(s) do you use to quickly create clear and nice-looking instructional images (images with number labels to explain steps taken, arrows to indicate clicking here, embedded text, etc)
I have tried macos built-in screenshotting tool, Snagit, and even hacked together Canva or Figma templates, but the time for editing each image still takes pretty long
The outputs from screenshotting tool and Snagit looks old school. While Canva and Figma outputs look better, each image still requires plenty of adjustment
