Hot baths and tattoos

Hi there! I've tried googling but with no avail. What's the proper aftercare advice for hot baths and 1, 2 or 3 months old tattoos? The only aftercare advice I can find is what to do in the time exactly after. Is it okay to take a hot bath when the surface looks healed? Will it affect the tattoo for the worse so "early on"?
