How can i purchase from Taobao, but not Xianyu???

I’ve always used taobao for purchases. Di recently found out about Xianyu from my friends overseas who sell products, and I wanted to purchase something from them.

When I registered, it mentioned linking my Taobao account, so i did & now i am able to see my history from Taobao & Xianyu.

When going to purchase, it says my account has an identity violation when I didn’t do anything yet & i cant even make a purchase. I’m a bit frustrated.

Is there a way I can buy Xianyu items elsewhere, similar to Zenmarket? Or can I buy Xianyu items on Taobao?
