1817+ and 1621+ in one office - which should be doing what?

Good morning,

I'm using a 1817+ (8 GB RAM) in my office and getting another 1621+ (32 GB RAM). I'm planning to use these as follows:

1817+ (8 GB)

  • File storage for internal and external users (customers)
  • Microsoft 365 Backup
  • Photos
  • Backup destination for all 1621+ data via HyperBackup

1621+ (32 GB)

  • Docker-Host (GitLab, YouTrack, Zabbix, ...)
  • VM-Host (1 Windows 10/11 Pro and maybe 1 Linux)
  • Directory Server (as a replacement for our Windows Server 2016), 15 Users
  • DNS Server
  • DHCP Server
  • VPN-Server, 15 Users
  • Backup destination for all 1817+ data via HyperBackup

The 1621+ is on a different floor than the 1817+ to have some kind of protection against data loss by water or fire, but I will backup the 1817's data to a cloud drive for added security.

Would you agree to this division of tasks or would you recommend some changes?
