Super Dutys and Parking Garages
So I've owned my F250 (2016 LB SCAB, stock height) for a little over a year now, and up until recently parking garages haven't been an issue. My old truck was an F150, so I've never had to worry about it. However last year I drove to my local mall's garage once (which I'm quite familiar with) and the height marker at the entrance scraped my roof. Clearance inside the garage I knew wouldn't be an issue, my antenna hits the signs though; which my wife finds hilarious. I also drive to Philadelphia to visit my brother every once in a while, who often travels there for work. The first couple times weren't a problem as the hotels he was staying at had surface parking lots. The first time he stayed in Center City though, I pulled into the parking garage and it was SCARY. There were spots where I couldn't have had more than an inch or two of clearance.
Anyway, now I find myself doing homework ahead of time if I think I might have to use a parking garage. If it looks like my size is going to be a problem I'll try to find a surface lot or arrange to take my wife's car or my brother's.
So how do you guys handle parking garages?
