Books with places that are BEEG - “it’s bigger on the inside!!” - or set in a somewhat liminal, gigantic space with winding stairs or roads

Please blame House of Leaves. I’ve finished that book and now I’m OBSESSED with looking for big, disorganized, irrational spaces in books that characters have to contend with.

Bonus points if it’s a location and also a character at the same time!

Some examples that I have so far are:

Rendezvous with Rama | Science fiction. The space is the spaceship Rama, with immense staircases and open spaces shrouded in darkness.

Rules for Vanishing | Thriller / horror. The space is a road that doesn’t behave like any normal road, surpassing both time and space constraints. Plus there is murder and some horrors.

Piranesi | Contemporary fantasy. The space is the House which Piranesi investigates and lives in. I won’t expound to avoid spoilers but iykyk
