Dealing with homesickness

I’ve only been on my study abroad programme for less than a week and I already miss home. I know once the semester gets going ill hopefully focus in on that and I won’t miss home as much but I have a girlfriend and friends at home who I miss and all my home comforts. If anyone has any advice on dealing with this in the upcoming months I would appreciate it!!
