What would you recommend

Win exclusively a console player(Xbox) who’s looking for a new headset. I currently have the 9x and the hinge broke recently and they have been disconnecting non stop. I was going to order the new white nova pros as I could get them for about $250. I also seen they recently released the Nova 5x and I like the idea of the app and better mic. Is it worth it paying $120 more for the nova pros? I mainly play cod so footsteps are key. Is there a big difference as far as sound and “x-ray” hearing
