Is this really a picanha?

I bought a picanha yesterday and it looks a little off. The sticker said “ball steak” - it doesn’t have that trademark triangle shape I typically see (granted it was cut in half down the middle).

Pics for reference. It is still thawing out so wondering if it will ‘flatten’ once it thaws and take form.
