A poem about life in St. Catharines

I couch surfed in St Caths

You can do the math

You'd also feel like you need a nice hot bath

House filled with beatles

Grass full of needles

I got all anxious and made a little tweedle

Need a buck

I'm down on my luck

So I dont give a fuck

If my verses suck

Need a dime for some rent

Or I'm gonna have to tent

I'm living in a carnival of fent

Walked down St. Paul

Took a bus to the mall

Was not impressed at all

Was one of the beggars

And got money all haggard

I made a big wager

I'll get a job

And not have to sob

For money

I'm not a slob

And this isn't funny

So I lived at southridge

Felt on the edge

It was better than out in the fridge

But then I did it

And stood up from my sit

Had an interview and got the bit!
