Has the app gotten noticeably worse for anyone else since release?

Why does it take 20 seconds to load a volume slider? This process was near instant for me back in may when they first released the redesign. Now I’m constantly waiting up to 30 seconds for my app to load when I want to simply change the volume. It’s maddening
