Yuri Orlov VS Goto

Saw online in a friend group (who besides me and one other are all new to the series) saying Goto is stronger due to being “near national level” even though feats show he’s not even remotely near the level. I often see tier lists putting him on par with Yuri and leinnart (or ABOVE them). I thought as a scaler it would be fun to address this, and “debunk” it (though with a friendlier connotation).

For starters we see Goto dying to the Ant King (before he absorbed Goto’s power, as well as Min Byung), who then obviously died to Sung. After the world seeing Sung beat the raid, including Beru, Yuri is STILL called the worlds strongest support Mage type, not best, or smartest, but strongest. (This is important because the world thinks Sung is a mage type hunter). Meaning Yuri > Sung who killed Beru >> Ant king who died to Sung >>> Goto.

For Lennart (who btw I believe is a ranger? He can’t be a mage since Yuri, but also ranger is My favorite class so heck yeah!). His feats of being the strongest French hunter should generally be above Yuri who is the strongest support mage, not the strongest Russian Hunter. But also his legit feats are entire magnitudes superior. Yuri was fodderized by the giant (mini boss I’ll call it) yet beru could severely damage it, and a VASTLY stronger beru was restrained by a casual insect monarch, who generally is considered immensely below the beast monarch, let alone his semi transformed self which which Lennart could forcibly send dozens of feet away and force his jaw to regen (but not inflicting true damage).

I’m fine with people putting Lennart and Yuri on the same general tier, due to nonspecific scaling (while we can assume the miniboss that fodderized Yuri was much weaker than even base human form Rakan, it could be a monarch of shadows and destruction situation, where even their subordinates are stronger or comparable to weaker or even full strength monarchs)

Goto was strong, but we know he wasn’t actually even remotely close to national Level. Cha Hae In when using all of her amping skills has better feats. And while goto base to base is clearly stronger, and MAY have had amping skills (likely did, don’t see even a single S rank not using their money to buy at LEAST one), we don’t actually know.
