Getting a lesson pricing
So I am 48 and definitely not in as great shape as I use to be. I've been skiing for a long while now, and my form is not where I would like it. I would like to carve better and not resort to bad form on nastier stuff or on doubles. I went to 2 separate mountains and asked about group lessons to help me with that, and both said there was none that they offered, and that I had to take a private lesson at $600+ for 3 hours. Both mountains (Ikon mountains) said that they stop at level 6 for groups.
With that said, is that what you guys are paying for lessons? I know that this sport is expensive, but paying a mountain $600+ while the instructor is making peanuts is insane to me. Any tips of how to get more affordable lessons?
