Now my sims can't go to work!

I bought the Legacy Edition, and I faced several problems. From the game crashing to deleting sims in the middle of the game and other things. Apparently, after the new EA update things had been resolved for me. But now, my sims simply CANNOT GO TO WORK! The game simply cancels the action of them getting into the carpool or their own car, even if there is a nanny and a butler inside the house. I honestly don't know what to do. Is anyone else facing the same situation here?
