RTX 3070 vs 7800 XT

I'm building a second computer for dedicated simracing. I'm wondering which video card should be for my main computer (work and gaming in 4k/1440p) and secondary dedicated sim racing rig (triple 1080p, may upgrade to triple 1440p in future). I'm leaning towards 3070 on the racing rig, but may end up playing more RTX games on the main computer, which I read the 3070 does significantly better?
