So I wanted to switch the Logitech G29 wheel for a bigger wheel and saw a YouTube video on a mod that let me have the buttons in front while the paddle shifters stayed behind the wheel.
I followed the tutorial and ended up having a few problems
(4th pic) The six M5×20 screws that hold the wheel kept coming loose after FFB or turning the wheel alot
(5th pic) The paddle shifter extensions kept rubbing against the deep dish wheel and as such I couldn't use the paddle shifters. I tried to file it down but after around 30 mins of filing I only got it to where it is in the picture.
Is there a way to make sure the screw stops coming loose? Do I buy a longer screw and use 2 nuts? Also the paddle extension 3d print files are in STL format and I have no idea if I can edit the model to give me more clearance for the wheel. Do I just keep filing until there is more space for the shifters?
