I'm an idiot.

I have waited literally 20+ years to actually purchase a wheel setup for racing games, putting it off over and over. This year for my 40th birthday I finally bit the bullet and found a whole rig setup (rack, wheel, pedals, shifter) on fb marketplace. Asked the kid if it was compatible with Playstation, he says yeah, just tested it, its a g923. Get it home, look at the wheel, it has the Xbox symbol on the home button, its a g920.

Dude doesn't message me back and im out 225 for a wheel that won't work at all for my setup. I am so mad at myself. I really should have taken more time to find what actually works.

I also noticed so many mislabeled wheels online after this snafu, so I guess people just don't pay attention or intentionally mislabeled them.

Just wanted to share, commiserate. For now it's back up on marketplace for sale and the wait to buy another is back on.
