I don’t like the way pyramid head is handled in the remake.

I’m sure others have brought this up, but i feel like scenes he’s featured in the remake feel drastically more sanitized. I understand ito was upset over the fact that people were interpreting that scene as rape, which probably resulted in them doing away with the eroticism of the scene entirely. I don’t think this was the way to go. Another detail i’m disappointed by is how they handled his scenes for the boss fight. In the original you see him in a sexually charged pose with the mannequin making obviously sexual sounds , and after the boss fight ends he walks down into the water. In the remake, the same room still exists! however you simply see the dead lying figure , and then you go down the stairs yourself which leads to the new boss room. As mush as i love a lot of what i’ve seen in the remake, the music, the environments, the overall atmosphere and monster design, as well as the acting (minus maria) I feel like this is one of the things i’m truly disappointed by.
