Signal-desktop app message audio notification sound changed. Why?

I just upgraded signal-desktop to the latest linux version and the audio notification sound has changed to the water droplet sound. What was the reason for this change and what was wrong with the old sound? I now don't know if I've received an email or signal message on my PC if I'm away from the screen as they now share the same notification sound.
