Ski edge sharpening

Hi everyone!

With ski season just around the corner, I’m planning to prep my skis myself for the first time, including sharpening the edges. I’m wondering if ski edge sharpening is something people discuss here, and if there’s anyone who’s done it before who might have some tips to share. Any advice on tools, techniques, or common mistakes to avoid would be really appreciated!
