Brother machine isn’t turning bobbin?

Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone can help, my brother machine (project runway CE1100PRW) is catching my fabric and upon taking the plate off the bobbin cover is turning with my machine and getting the needle caught in it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue? I am currently taking off the bobbin cover to look underneath it and cleaning it while I’m in there but I can’t seem to find this issue online. Thanks!

Also, I am out of lubricant for my machine but I do have food grade keyboard lubricant, would that be safe for my machine as well? I appreciate the help!
