Cape I made for my daughter (pattern by TreasurieSewing)

I made this cape by TreasurieSewing for my daughter.

The red outer fabric is a coated, water repellent fabric (sold to me as made for rain coats). The lining is a basic cotton jersey. I sewed all I could on my serger as it is so much more reliable than my brother innovis. The top stitching is done by the brother and turned out very inconsistent, even though I was careful about going very slow and steady. The machine had trouble getting through the layers. I''m still happy with how it turned out.

The pattern is well made and super easy to follow with a step by step guide. I made a slight alteration and added a cord instead of the intended velcro flap.

Dear mods, I'm sorry for having to post again due to being too late with my additional information.
