Do people think we’re making up these criticisms for no reason???
People aren’t making up the fact that the last few episodes of season 2 are absolutely uninteresting.
I keep seeing the argument that we’re just IPad kids who need everything revealed 30 minutes into a show and that’s so not true. Obviously we WANT to love the show because we’re all still watching. I loved season 1 and no one is saying the show has to be perfect but the people who can’t admit that they are dragging out these episodes are unbelievable to me. As if we didn’t just watch Mark, Cobel, and Devon stand on a hill until sunset to discuss NOTHING at all.
For example, I started watching Silo around the same time (currently on s2e7) and there’s such a stark difference between the mystery/suspense in that show vs Severance. Silo reveals bits and pieces throughout the episodes, there’s character development, I feel for the characters (something Severance seems to be terrible at maintaining), it’s consistent, there’s drama, and they still manage to keep the audience engaged with more questions. Ben Stiller or whoever should take notes.
I’m tired of the people who are acting oblivious. They’ll probably reveal a little more in the finale but that’s so predictable and lazy. We are not making up how disappointing season 2 has been so far.
