Are there trends in sh?

Hey all! I have a genuine question that I can’t find anything about when I google.

I’m like 9 years free of sh now, except a little relapse 5 years ago, and I don’t have any “depressive”/sh related contents in any of my feeds on the social media apps nowadays. However, every once in a blue moon I see TikToks with people who are either old sh’ers or active. I’ve noticed that a LOT of them have a scar/bandaid in the forehead. This has really made me wonder, it this a kind of trend? Are there trends in where people sh? It never occurred to me until now. Back in the early 2010’s when I was active I neeeever saw people do that, not irl or on tumblr which was the main social media I used. What do you guys think? Is it a type of “trend”?
