as a scene veteran r/scene has just not been doing it for me

like i grew up on true emo & scene culture so it’s p annoying to join a sub meant to be dedicated to scene and see most of its content be made up of bastardized versions of scene and/or pics of not-fully-scene or completely non-scene fashion. it’s gotten so bad i’ve muted the sub 😭 like now i scroll the sub itself twice or a bit more per week, upvote the gems, n go back to leaving it alone for awhile

it’s just a lot of people here don’t know real scene n it’s sad. but i mean the rules here are super loose anyway, so w/e i guess

i’m j tired of seeing “kinda” scene, “is this scene,” “how to make this scene,” “is this scene or scenecore” etc. I JUST WANT REAL SCENE T_T
