Would Dr Gordon tell the police where the bathroom is?

AFAIK, Gordon probably would've told his story to the survivor group in VII which would've lead to the hacksaw tribute being in the Jigsaw warehouse but would he actually reveal where it is to the authorities? Wouldn't it put him and his assistants at risk of getting caught in the future? How long would Hoffman have to stay in there (assuming he can't escape for some reason) to pass away before any of the bodies get discovered and moved out?

And if Gordon didn't tell them, why wasn't Hoffman considered a suspect in Jigsaw?
