Runna Apple Watch App vs Apple Workout
Hey everyone, relatively new to Runna and had a question about using the Runna Apple Watch app.
Now, I predominantly use the Apple’s Workout App for my runs, have been since before I started using Runna - reason why I like it is especially for longer easy runs I use the HRM to keep my HR in check. When I loaded the Runna watch app, there didn’t look like there was HR monitoring which I find extremely useful.
So in order to stick to the HM plan that Runna set out, I’ve been using RunKit (it’s amazing!) to build custom workouts for my Apple Workout app that mirrors what Runna asks for.
My question is, is using the Apple Workout app with custom runs and then linking it to the correlating workout in Runna effective from a Runna’s AI perspective? If not, does that mean if I want HR monitoring I should be getting a chest strap?
