Mid-campaign mcdonald’s run

I started a new campaign today. it was initially supposed to be in-person, but was made online due to last minute scheduling issues.

we were in the middle of character introductions and descriptions, when suddenly, through one of the players mic, we hear:

“and will the double cheeseburger bundle meal be all, ma’am?”

she was in a mcdonald’s drive thru. in the middle of the session.

she then proceeded to run errands for the full 2 hour session. she went to walmart, the grocery store, and finally the doctors office. we ended the session because she had an appointment and had to leave the call to get a vaccination.
