Trying to avoid stomach issues with light roast.
I just purchased an SR800 (not here yet). I generally drink dark roast because I drink a lot of coffee and lighter roasts bought at coffee shop upset my stomach due to the higher acidity (at least as I understand it). I generally make Americanos, straight coffee, or pour overs. Coffee and espresso brewed with a Delonghi Dinamica Plus and part of my interest in roasting is saving money on beans in the long run, the fun of learning and the craft as well as the health of my machine avoiding the more oily dark roasts that tend to clog the grinder. All that said I am open to any roast if I can avoid the acidity. Looking forward to your responses and appreciate this group and all I’ve learned so far.
