Is the age gap weird?

I (F24) have been talking to a coworker (M19) for about 3 months. We have a 5 year age gap, but everyone at work seems to calls me names and proceed to say Odd and hurtful things like I like children. This hurts me deeply and makes me feel like they see something I don’t. I don’t want to listen to people being haters but am curious if I’m in the wrong. Is the age gap weird.? Our friendship comes so naturally, he’s like my best friend. I don’t treat him any differently then I would anyone else who’s older. What do you guys think?
