Crowdwork has ruined standup comedy.

It's all just fucking crowdwork now. The last two comedy shows I went to, one was a guy I actually wanted to see too, the same thing happened: like five minutes of actual stand up, the rest was just "so what do you do for work?" and "how long have you two been dating?". No one actually writes jokes anymore.
