Sage Denim Earth beast II 33 oz
Alright ladies and gentlemen, I'm in my heavyweight season of my raw denim journey! The last couple months I've been rocking UB221, Bravestar Gauntlet 21.5 oz(retired), Big John Tough Jeans 25 oz, and Samurai Kiwami II 19 oz. I searched this sub about this company, but it is underrepresented AF here! Lol I decided to do a little research on heavier weight denim and it lead me to Sage Denim. I'd gotten used to the 21+ oz jeans, so I figured why not try the 33's. I had zero issues breaking in and wearing the 21+ oz jeans, but these 33s are a MFer just to put on. The fabric is obviously thicker than a snicker and it is very very tightly woven, and stiff. The weft isn't as uncomfortale as you would think, and it will soften up more and more over time. They are unsanforized and unwashed/unrinsed so I sized up 1, but I could have gone up 2. The size chart is pretty darn accurate if you ask me. I'm fan girling over these because of all the detail Sage put in for the price I paid($200usd shipping included). It came with a nice little bag, bunch of stickers and all the tags were pretty neat/detailed. You can tell the company puts a lot of thought and work into their designs. Things that stand out to me: I appreciate the little loop in the belt loop by the right pocket. I have my keys on a carabiner and it's nice to have that instead of hooking right onto the belt loop itself. The 5mm patch is a work of art, nice and thick! The weft is a very unique mix of greens and browns. Selvedge ID is a shiny emerald/green. The stitching on the hem and the inseam are also green, but they blend in well with the indigo. All but the pocket watch pocket are lined which is nice. They have hidden rear rivers too for extra durability. 1 awesome thing is that the front pockets are nice and deep! So much room for activities! Things I'm not a fan of, but can live with: The pocket watch pocket is shallow. They bleed like a MFer, but that's expected. The rear pockets are a little small, but they fit my wallet so no biggie. I broke the top button off trying to put them on post soak, but that's a non issue for me. Customer service and shipping were both surprisingly good. I ordered these March 3 and they came in March 14. Not bad 👌🏽

Tldr, Sage Denim is worth it
