Is it worth it? CVT in 2025

Hi, Ive been looking online and people say that cvt is not good in cars and that’s why they like the RAV4.

But all the RAV4 here have the cvt in the gas versions except the Adventure type which has what they call 8 speed transmission.

Is it worth getting a 28k awd RAV4 le with cvt in 2025? Does it mean something different than I’m understanding as newbie to all of this?
