Started 5 Christmas quilts, only managed to finish one (and pics of my basting method)

It’s the only Christmas quilt I managed to finish, but that’s good enough for me (the other 4 are just a head start on next year!).

Also sharing my pool noodle basting. The quilt top is about 66”x77”. I spread everything out on the floor and trim my backing & batting and get the batting & top rolled on the noodles. I lay the backing on the table and clamp it taught. Then I spray and roll & smooth out the batting about 6-10” at a time. Then I do the same with the top. When I’m out of room, I unclamp and shift the quilt, reclamp and start again. I pin, but I don’t think it’s needed (if I use enough spray), and I stuck myself so many times, next time I’m definitely trying it without. The sheets on the floor are over overspray.
