Music Taste

I recently encountered a situation where My roommates said "The song is too bad", but it's one of the greatest rendition for that song. The song came in different languages like Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. They say like this to most of the songs I play in the speaker. Are their music taste is bad or they hate mine simply? What should I do with the people hating my music taste? I've also faced this when I ay some old songs from 70's and 80's.
