Can you accidentally cheat?

I know this sounds like a stupid question, cheating is deliberate but are there some cases wherein you accidentally cheat?

Here is my story: During a quiz, I stumbled upon a question I had difficulty answering. It's not that I don't know the answer but I don't know the spelling. Because of that my body just compulsively search the spelling but it took me a few minutes to realize it was cheating. I felt so guilty that I literally couldn't study for a whole day. Is this an example of accidentally cheating?
