Questions to ask a psychic mentor

Hi friends! I am at the very beginning of my psychic development journey and I've decided to start with a mentor. I already have several questions and intentions/goals in mind, but as a novice, I just don't know what I don't know. What's your best advice for maximizing the benefits of a good mentor?
