Brother TN-2410 vs TN2510 toner

I'd recently been doing some research into Brother laser printers to replace a HP InJet (sick of Instant Ink etc.)

I noticed the 'older' basic models seem to use TN-2410 toner, whereas 'newer' ones seem to use TN2510. They're both rated to print 1,200 pages but the TN2510 toner seems to be about 36% more expensive, at least on Amazon in the UK

I'm curious if anyone knows what the difference is between these 2 types of toner to justify the price difference? I think TN2510 includes a chip which presumably enables an EcoPro subscription, and maybe makes it harder for you to use third-party toner - is it just the case that TN-2410 doesn't have a chip so they have to price it a bit more competitively against third party toner (ie. so if you don't care about EcoPro you should get a printer that takes TN-2410 toner to make it cheaper when you buy replacements) or is there some other reason TN2510 is more expensive (better quality? easier to change?) that would mean I should go for a printer that uses TN2510 even if I don't care about EcoPro?

The only advantage I can think of TN2510 (if you don't want EcoPro) is if it's newer then it might be supported for longer, but it seems like a lot of Brother printers use TN-2410 so I assume replacement toner will still be available for years anyway.
