Stay as an MA or accept CNA position?
I have ~1300 hours as an UC/FM Medical Assistant and feel I have nothing more relevant to learn towards becoming a physician one day. Yes it would be cool to work for a specialty, but I kinda feel like I got what I needed to out of the job. I loved it too. I worked with MDs, PAs, NPs, got to do HPI, EKG, Phlebotomy, all sorts of tests, preparation for procedures, even XRAY tech stuff! But I am looking for hospital experience now,
I have a job offer for a med/surg CNA and ICU CNA position. I'm wondering if I should stay or take the job. If I take the job which do I take? I know CNA's work closer to RN's so how would I establish connections with physicians as a CNA?
