HELP! Do my experiences count as clinical experiences?!

I just left a meeting with my school's pre-health advisor and they told me my experiences do not count as clinical experience since it wasn't face-to-face which I understand but I still feel conflicted. I call patients with substance use problems and check in with them. I check if they have their medications, ask about withdrawal symptoms, and connect them with further resources. Sometimes, I do communicate with these patients face to face too but she said it still would not count since I do not touch them.

Another experience I have is working as a community health worker in which I provided support for undocumented minorities who have asthma and helped come up with action plans about asthma. But once again, since I never physically touched a patient, I was told it would not count as clinical experience.

I am applying this upcoming cycle with no clinical experience then?! I will be taking a gap year so I thought I could work as a scribe then but they said scribing isn't clinical experience either??!! That's when I got confused and decided to reach out to other people to ask and confirm as well, starting with Reddit lol.

Please help.
