Scheduled c-section/missing out on vaginal birth experience

Am I silly for being kinda sad that I won’t get to experience the vaginal labor process. I’m 40 weeks pregnant and my c-section is scheduled for tomorrow. My ob suggested this was a better decision because baby hasn’t dropped, I haven’t dilated at all, and my cervix is still long and thick. Baby is also measuring about 10 pounds so there’s a fear that he could get stuck in the birth canal/have shoulder dystocia. I agreed that a c section would be best but I’m still sad that I won’t get to experience a vaginal birth.
