Feeling unlucky

Kinda fuming that i only just got into the investing game Dec24 about 25K just for a blue moon bear market to hit just a few months after. I get it was going to be volatile with new administration but was hoping for take off if anything. If I had just known to wait could have bought everything at discount 🥵 how often do markets shift like this??
