Help! My toy poodle won’t stop eating stray cat 💩

My 18 month old has been doing this since she was a puppy. I’ve read that they do it when something is missing from their diet but she’s been on a few different foods, vet approved, and it’s fine. The vet just said she may grow out of it. My friend has two toy poodles and she said hers do the same. Taking her in the backyard on a leash is certainly an option but not ideal so just wondering if anyone else has this issue and if so what did you do to stop it?
