Which game has the best introduction?

By introduction, I mean the events that lead up to getting your starter Pokemon. I personally really enjoyed ruby/sapphire/emerald introducing us to our father via the TV, meeting our rival, then watching Birch getting chased around by a wild Pokemon requiring us to step in and save the day.

I want to hear which game has the best introduction, in your opinion?
